Today’s game was a challenge and the boys had to really battle in midfield and track back at times but they came through and came out on top!

Really proud of how the boys all played today, we saw some really good movement and some great goals and saves!

You should all be proud of yourselves today as it was a tough game but you all played your part and put a real shift in!!

Once again this team showed what they are about and are getting a reputation among other teams that know we mean business, keep it up Lions well done.

The score line could have been a lot greater if it had not been a fantastic performance for Gomersal’s goalkeeper, I’d just like to mention that as she had a brilliant game and kept the score line down.

Big shout out to Carter today for Man Of The Match who went home for a well-deserved butty! He ran the show from the back pinging balls across to the danger areas and keeping calm on the ball to make runs and set up attacks! Well done buddy
